Diatomaceous earth is an effective filtration aid because the pores in its cell walls trap bacteria, clay particles, and other solids from liquids, reducing contaminates and increasing purity. This is a High-End replacement for Celite-545. Celite-545 contains a variety of elements that can become contaminates to your process, and lead to oil oxidation from those impurities. PurifiDE is manufactured to be free of extractable elements below 10ppm.
